Among the rarest wines we’ve ever produced, this rich, bold and intensely-flavorful Italian-styled Amarone was vinified from grapes left out to dry. We intensified the wine’s flavor by resting it on a bed of crushed raisins in bourbon and rye whiskey casks for 16 months. The finished wine is inky-dark, heavy and full-bodied with strong bitter chocolate notes, sweet blackberry essence and a unique, brown sugar finish. It pairs beautifully with chocolate cake, shortbread cookies and sweet tropical fruits.
