A pursuit of artistry in late-harvest winemaking (sugar at Harvest: 30 degrees Brix), Sweetie Pie is a delicious combination of full-bodied Grenache, Mourvèdre and Petit Verdot wines produced from hand-picked wine grapes grown at our Block 1 vineyard in the Kansas Settlement region of southeastern Arizona. The vines were culled in October at leaf fall, and the supple, raisined clusters were painstakingly vinified into concentrated, intensely-fragrant semi-sweet wines and blended. Aged and rotated in a disciplined combination of concrete tanks and American oak barriques, the wine is richly flavored with smooth & pronounced essence of ripe cherries and fig. Allow this wine to open up - we highly recommend decanting; serve with cheesecake, sweet berries and with chocolates.
